I've tried so many kind of epilators, Braun, Emjoi, Remington, Philips. I must say this is the least painful epilator I've ever used. There is no epilator without any pain, let's face it, it will hurt, but it is not as bad as waxing. This Panasonic epilator works fast, does not pinch my skin, and do the job at least amount of time. This is the best epilator so far and I will keep using it.

I used to have an older model that I loved but finally burned out after many good years. I was really scared to try a new one.
But this one is reall y good! If you've never used this type of machine....well it hurts...don't kid yourself..you are plucking hair out of your body...it's no secret. But...you DO get used to it. For me, a seasoned pro, it only hurts in the areas where the the hair fine. But I don't care because my hairs grow back softer and fewer. I Refuse to go back to shaving. I did once and it made my hair course. After two session with this machine they grew back softer. I highly recommend it.
I did try it wet and it doesn't work as well. But I think it should be used dry anyway which is why I gave it five stars.
